My guru, how you made me laugh
Could we play again
Someday?
Because, I remember when before
You spun the stars in their orbits
Just to make me smile
And wrapped me in a blanket of light
While I meditated
Just to keep me warm
When it all scared me,
You touched my forehead
And there was no longer a world to fear
Let me find you again
Someday
I'll lay my head back
In the desert sand
And once again
The canyon will bathe in your bliss.
