I am grateful

I am grateful that
he put me back on the path,
that he empowered me with the light of nirvana,
that he showed me dimensions of light and brightness that I could have never imagined or known existed,
that he showed me how to live quietly, but passionately,
that he gave us outrageous and "impossible" tasks,
that he gave us music, hikes, posters, black tie dinners, movies, dogs, computer classes, Caribbean trips, corporations, techno rave parties, reading assignments and on and on,
that he showed me that real pain comes from serving only yourself
and that real happiness comes from serving others.

I am grateful to be a student of Rama’s!
Buddha’s name be praised!
